Welcome to Minneapolis Family Connections

Minneapolis Family Connections is a group of parents and professionals who support families of young children with medical or developmental concerns by hosting events, facilitating support groups, and providing information through our newsletter, website, speaker forums and other communication tools.

We help families move from coping to flourishing.

Are You Concerned About Your Child's Development?
All parents wonder at times about their child's development.  A child may start walking or talking later than his peers.  Parents may wonder if medical problems in early infancy could affect their child.  If you have any questions or concerns, here is how you can get started.

How to Get Involved
The IEIC meets monthly and has committees working on issues ranging from family support to public awareness and identifying children with special needs early.

We welcome parents, service providers, and early childhood professionals.  Parents of special needs children ages birth to 12 are eligible for an hourly stipend for their participation.

If you are interested in becoming part of a vital, active organization that improves the lives of children and their families, please call  Jean at 612-668-5107 or send her an e-mail.
