Areas of Concern

Call 348-TOTS if you have any of these concerns:

* Delays in meeting developmental milestones
* Behavioral concerns
* Lack of eye contact
* Unusual or repetetive play schemes
* Loud or unusual vocal patterns
* Extreme aversions to touch or movement
* Repetitive seeking out of sensory input (jumping, spinning, fingerplay)
* Poor attention span
* No speech or few words as compared to peers
* Unclear speech
* Any loss of speech or babbling or social skills at any age
* Inability to follow simple instructions
* Poor balance, clumsiness, weakness
* Atypical muscle tone (too tight or too floppy)
* Complications from prematurity
* Hearing and/or vision problems
* High lead level
* Being positive for drugs alcohol at birth
* Failure to thrive
* Suspected medical diagnosis that may hinder development, such as Down Syndrome, cerebral palsy, microcephaly, Autism Spectrum Disorders, chromosomal abnormalities, cleft palate
